Pacquiao vs Dela Hoya

I'm not a boxing fanatic but people I know are talking like crazy about this dream match between Oscar Dela Hoya and our very own filipino Manny Pacquiao. The fight night will be tomorrow at Las Vegas, Nevada. I know a lot of people out there especially the Filipinos are extremely excited and hoping that Manny will win the victory. Well then let's hope and pray for Manny's success tomorrow. Best of luck Manny!

Soothe Soar Throat

I'm experiencing sore throat right now. I found this simple remedies to reduce the pain and so I decided might as well share it. Here it is:

Tomato Juice
For temporary relief of sore throat symptoms, gargle with a mixture of 1/2 cup tomato juice and 1/2 cup hot water, plus about 10 drops hot pepper sauce.

Vinegar
Here are three ways that you can make a sore throat feel better:
  • If your throat is left raw by a bad cough, or even a speaking or singing engagement, you'll find fast relief by gargling with 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar and 1 teaspoon salt dissolved in a glass of warm water; use several times a day if needed.

  • For sore throats associated with a cold or flu, combine 1/4 cup cider vinegar and 1/4 cup honey and take 1 tablespoon every four hours.

  • To soothe both a cough and a sore throat, mix 1/2 cup vinegar, 1/2 cup water, 4 teaspoons honey, and 1 teaspoon hot sauce. Swallow 1 tablespoon four or five times daily, including one before bedtime. Warning: Children under one year old should never be given honey.

Got approval from Socialspark

Yesterday I received an email from socialspark that my blog has been approved. I'm happy that it was approved but on the other hand I don't know what to do next. Anyway I'm still asking some couple of friends for some inputs. I hope I'll be able to figure it out in the coming days. I also submitted my blog to Payperpost or PPP and still waiting to hear something from them. Well then I'll just post some more later on. For now Ciao everyone. Seize the day!!!

1 can evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon lemon extract

Preparation:

Pre heat oven to 130 C or 330 F.

For filling: Whip eggs, butte and sugar until creamy then add the remaining ingredients. Stir well. Pour filling in unbaked pie crust. Bake for 30 mins or until firm.

I Am Grateful Because

1. I have God in my life.

2. I have the undying love and support of my Family and Friends.

3. I have the greatest man in the whole universe and I couldn't ask for more.

4. I've been through a lot of obstacles in life which made me a better person.

Be Thankful

"Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don't know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times,
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you're tired and weary
Because it means you've made a difference.

It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are
also thankful for the setbacks.

GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessings."

Thank you Ms Ray, for this tag. I am passing this to five other bloggers, namely Joy, Grace, Geraldine, Ruby and Jacky

Rules:
1. Write down 5 things you are grateful for and the 5 bloggers you are tagging.
2. Add a quote on gratitude.

Today is Cyber Monday

The term Cyber Monday refers to the Monday immediately following Black Friday, the ceremonial kick-off of the holiday online shopping season in the United States between Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. Whereas Black Friday is associated with traditional brick-and-mortar stores, "Cyber Monday" symbolizes a busy day for online retailers. The premise was that consumers would return to their offices after the Black Friday weekend, making purchases online that they were not able to make in stores. Although that idea has not survived the test of time, Cyber Monday has evolved into a significant marketing event, sponsored by the National Retail Federation's Shop.org division, in which online retailers offer low prices and promotions.

So guys start searching for deals now!!!

My baby

This is Andy my sister's daughter, she is like my own daughter too that's why I call her my baby. I was checking some new photos on my sister's page and came across with this pictures. I can't believe how time goes by so fast. Three years ago she was just our little bundle of joy but now she doesn't want to be called baby anymore. Oh I miss her so much.

World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day, observed December 1 each year, is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of infection. AIDS has killed more than 25 million people between 1981 and 2007 and an estimated 33 million people worldwide live with HIV as of 2007, making it one of the most destructive epidemics in recorded history. Despite recent, improved access to antiretroviral treatment and care in many regions of the world, the AIDS epidemic claimed an estimated 2 million lives in 2007, of which about 270,000 were children. The concept of a World AIDS Day originated at the 1988 World Summit of Ministers of Health on Programmes for AIDS Prevention. Since then, it has been taken up by governments, international organizations and charities around the world.
